Granite Countertops

For A Modern Look

Granite – Granite is a light-colored igneous rock that is formed from the slow crystallization of magma below Earth’s surface.  Granite is composed mainly of quartz and feldspar with minor amounts of mica, amphiboles and other minerals.   This mineral composition usually gives granite a variety of colors including black, pink, gray, white, brown and even hues of blue.

The most popular types of granite tend to be Ubatuba, Baltic Brown, Absolute Black and Saint Cecilia, which is a standard in many high-end homes. Homeowners love granite because of its incredible durability and ability to resist bacteria almost as well as Quartz. As with any stone, proper care and maintenance will keep your countertops from scratching or dulling over time
